Pricing in the home inspection industry can vary greatly based on the region. In East Tennessee, home inspectors primarily price homes base on the age of the home, square footage of the home, and location of the home. This gives each client the most accurate amount for the exact home they are trying to purchase.
When searching for a Home Inspector- one mistake that is commonly made is to shop for a home inspector as you would a TV or a car- the search for the cheapest. Buying a home is one of the most important decisions that will be made in one's lifetime. Accurate and complete information about the home is essential to make a good decision. The saying "You Get What You Pay For" is often true with home inspectors. Many of the cheaper home inspectors in our area have never even held a hammer. They simply took an online course, and passed a test to become licensed; and are priced accordingly. I often ask my clients- "How can someone inspect a home, if they have never had the experience of building a home?".

Our experience, certifications, licenses, and continuing education are perhaps the best selling point of our company. Our Lead Inspector, Justin, has personally built multiple houses from the ground up. He has over a decade of REAL WORLD experience in multiple aspects of construction including footings and structural modifications, foundation repair and basement waterproofing, mold remediation, insulation, drywall, framing, electrical, complete remodels, and new construction. Justin has inspected and written home inspection reports for hundreds of homes in the last 2 years alone. Here in Tennessee, Justin holds professional licenses for both an Electrician and Home Inspector.
